Last day at work done!

I was actually looking forward to it for a very very long time... Last day at work!! WOOO kind of like day before holidays when you were at school, this super excitement.

I am very much looking forward not to deal with idiots, people who ask you obvious and same questions over and over again... Oh wait! I will have a baby, but then these guys do not actually know. But asking about car park charges and why are they so high... You damn ass it is city centre it s actually very reasonable!! And no just because it says check in time 2pm you do not have to arrive by 2pm or else we give away your room... Honestly!! See why sometimes I get grumpy at home because it seems rude to tell people "Just use your brain mate!" and you also cannot be patronising.... Even if you actually know better!
My work colleagues made me feel very special! I had a home baked cake. Which was insanely delishious... I mean you really cannot go wrong with chocolate brownie cake in white icing! And look how pretty and fun it is....



Kelly actually made the baby out of cake too and swaddle him in icing.... More icing and more cake!!!



I got some beautiful flowers, cards with sweet wishes and advice not to ask our GM to baby sit since he almost drowned his nephew... well the kid fell into the river while cycling with him.

Also got lots of hugs and wishes. Love hugs:) Some super soft socks for the mini me and gift voucher to spend in Mamas and Papas. We still have few things to get... Think like this might be never ending.



I felt very cared for and loved yesterday, big thank you to all you lovely people at work. And some amazing regular guests who also gave me presents for little one... That's like extra sweet!!



But now I feel strange...  I have been working for a while now and I realise "What on Earth I am going to do?" time off... with no holidays to fill in, no deadlines... It is scary.... Our lives are about to change. And there is nothing to do but prepare and wait for the baby to arrive... One very scary notion.

Back to the gym

I finally decided it’s time… to go back to the gym.  I did start running after I had baby G but I over did it and got injured and got really unmotivated.  I am feeling just fine, a little bigger than I used to be before baby G but again it’s ok. But I am not as strong as I used to be. And I need to be ready to chase after the boys and carry at least one of them if needed to be…. So I rejoined my old gym. And on my 1st day on the way in I bumped into one of the trainers. It was nice he is one of the really nice people and was very supportive!  Week one I only managed to once for a class. It was fun! And hard. And I really felt my muscles that I didn’t feel in ages!  Week two I did two days class and just worked out by myself. I love spin classes but I did really well at it and the entire body was hurting for days. Size vs hot mama bod!

Thinking oh it overall I have enjoyed being pregnant. Also I had an easy pregnancy and once I let go of that feeling that I have lost control over my body I was awesome! My body is amazing. However at the moment I find shopping for clothes and shoes an absolute nightmare. I have no idea what size I am. With shoes it is easy no real undressing involved. Just pop the shoe off and try try try.  But clothes... A lot of my pre Egg clothes don't fit which is, I have accepted, OK, I went throw major thing with producing a massive 9.4lb baby... So I am actually in need of new clothes. I started to look for stuff I can go to interview in, checked the clothes I had, I still have few things but I needed trousers and maybe a dress... Oh dear god! I know I am short that always been a struggle but finding trousers that fit around the waist and don't bobble up in front is actually almost impossible. Snoopies

School holidays for us are usually intense. No school no structure can be a little challenging. But it is always changing, and never the same. But work this time was also intense!  So we walked a lot!  We searched for Snoopies! They were joyous ones we met. Egg liked high-fiving them and giving them a boop on the nose. I enjoyed taking the pictures of amazing work of the varieties of artists. They also made me think of snow dogs we had a while back think about 6 years ago. So Egg was a same age as Gray now. Awww  But what makes me sad it that now they are fenced off or removed all together due to vandalism…  Who are these people who want to attack Snoopy?! And why?! Would this be the young folks who after lockdown cannot cope? Should we be paying more attention and give them care they need?  But then who were people who prepared for and vandalised Bute park? ….
