Snow Day In Bath

Image
In my book winter should always be with snow... But I guess that is because I am Russian. Here in UK with snow life stops... well there are people buying bread and milk at the shops but that would be about this. Snow is almost like plague... Lets stay inside because we do not want to risk our lives and go out... People! It is just snow!  its cold wet and pretty.... And Bath being one pretty city is extra pretty in snow... check this out! Also the best snowmen are from here I am certain... But the winter seem to disappear now and no more snow fun...  Oh well we are now waiting for spring!

Cinema Obsession

We all have hobbies, good or bad, usual and not so much. Apart from many things I love doing I’m huge fan of cinema… If you have been reading this blog then you would know that I do go to cinema a lot. Having cineworld helped not to leave me broke, especially since I have been to see Hobbit 4 times! But now in the new place, I was terribly disappointed to find out that the nearest Cinewolrd is in Bristol. Odeon is my new home… Now we have a budget for me to indulge in my love for cinema. Yay! Love my considerate hubby… There are so many films I really look forward to see…  Beautiful Creatures (either would love or hate it, but willing to give it a chance), 7th Son (Ben Barns!Yay!), movie 43.....  and my list goes on and on! Also I must be not alone in my cinema love; it’s a multi-million industry, dagh! So my friend Owen and me have decided to blog together about films. We live here . Enjoy! Hope the life would be soon as it was, or si

Challanges for This Year

Well new place is lovely... On the small side but really lovely.  What is one to do when there is no chance to get online... I read... and oh I read a lot! With my new Kindle (thank you Santa) I read things I never would have pick up otherwise... So as for my challenge for 2013... I am aiming to read 30 books and do the survival...  You know how inspreied I felt after seeing  the wall  so me and Viera are doing it! She'd better not chicken out! As for 30 books... I already red 7...  Discovered amazing Shadowmagic by John Lenahan and Lillian's Story by Patricia Gardnger.  But I am also big fan of Nell Sweeney Mysteries by P.B. Ryan... read 4 of them and I cannot get enough...  It is just so much fun! And now I am back to tackle the massive Game of Thrones....

I will miss you Cardiff...

I have been living in Cardiff for almost 7 years... I came here not knowing anyone or anything about the place... All I could tell from my visit for an interview, people are friendly... Little did I know that I would stay here for so long or that I would meet my husband here! Lots of other amazing poeple ... who I do miss... But hey, I guess we are only a train journey away...  Oh girls! Come visit me soon...  Cardiff will always be a special place for me! And how beautiful Welsh capital is!! But I do prefer Wales in summer... with flowers everywhere... and with its wild life We actually continued our great tradition to live next to park.. this time its Victoria Park in Bath next to Royal Crescent But change is good, besides I worked almost at every hotel in Cardiff... So time to move.  Steve said that we were just too comfortable in the end, and it was great time to move...  Hello Bath! I hope we will

When I was leaving home for Swiss we had a party... it was an event... a sad but a very happy one... When I was leaving Neuchatel to go back home it was an event... a sad one... But everyone who I cared about showed up. I love you guys for that... even if we do not keep in touch. Neuch was one super special place... I fell in love there.... and got so terribly disappointed however everyone I met are always in my heart... Nicole Moser! where are you?! I want to see and hug you! When I was leaving Russia to go to UK it was something else... something inevitable something that had to be done, I simply had to leave... We had a party anyway. I danced with the bassist of the band:) It's a bit disturbing that I look bit younger then 7 years ago... Must be the air:) I would never even dream that silly little me  (front row orange jumper) would ever leave Chelyabinks, move somewhere else and be happy...  I miss you every day my dear friends..
